We are on a “one week to go” countdown away from our next big adventure and Tim and I both are down with upper respiratory infections. We have been sick for days now and hopefully the antibiotics will kick in soon. We will be flying to Venice and spending 4 nights in a 5 bedroom apartment with friends from a previous cruise. We will then board the Ruby Princess cruise ship working its way back to Ft Lauderdale with stops in Naples, Rome, Florence, Marseille, Barcelona, Lisbon and the Azores. Once we board the ship and have port stops several days in a row, no promises about posting to this blog everyday, but will try to keep it fairly updated. We will be arriving in Venice on October 3, so you can check back after that date for postings to start.
